Independent Pipe Products, Inc.'s (IPPI) state-of-the-art, 275,000 square foot facility on 26 acres incorporates a ten extrusion line HDPE pipe production plant with IPPI's expanded HDPE fittings fabrication plant.

Independent Pipe Products, Inc. (IPPI) is proud to announce its expansion to the East Coast! IPPI’s new 52,000 square foot facility in Abbeville County, South Carolina will house its new American Maplan 65-inch extruder, making IPPI one of only 4 pipe manufactures in the country that has the ability to extrude large diameter HDPE Pipe.

"This new facility will move us closer to our growing customer base on the East Coast," Ron Hopton-Jones, President of Independent Pipe Products, Inc., said in an October 2009 news release. "South Carolina offers us an excellent business environment, and Abbeville County had an existing facility in which we could house our operations and grow."

The former Performance Pipe facility is being renovated and expanded in a $7 million investment to house the new Maplan, as well as, 3 KraussMaffei 24-inch extrusion lines. The new facility is set to come online in spring 2010 and run 24 hours a day seven days a week. The increase in IPPI’s production capability and expansion of its current product line into larger diameter pipe and fittings will make IPPI one of the top competitors in HDPE pipe maunfacturing.

Our Design-Flow Bolt Ring is so unique in its novel design that it has earned “Patent Pending” status based, in principle, on its strong, tough, ductile and constant sealing design. Its contoured cross-section enables ring deformation which provides a constant sealing force. Available in IPS Ductile Iron sizes 3/4" - 54", DIPS Ductile Iron sizes 4" - 30", IPS Stainless Steel sizes 2" - 54", DIPS Satinless Steel sizes 4" - 30", IPS Epoxy Coated sizes 3/4" - 54" and DIPS Epoxy Coated 4" - 30".

This kit enables HDPE pipe to be fitted with a bell end in order to accept ductile iron pipe or DIPS OD PVC pipe (also can accept IPS OD PVC pipe by using a transition gasket). This eliminates the need for a ductile iron solid sleeve when making this connection. This kit includes the HDPE Bell MJ fitting with stainless steel reinforcing collar, ductile iron C110 heavy body gland ring, gasket and extra length T-bolts. Retaining glands are available for Ductile Iron Pipe or PVC Pipe and are sold seperately. Transition gaskets are also available and sold seperately. Bell MJ Adapters are fully pressure rated for DR ordered and are AWWA compliant at no extra charge.

This Corporation-Stop valve has a successful 25 year history of leak free performance in water distribution service. This ball-valve unit eliminates the corrodable metal tapping-saddle on HDPE pipe. It becomes part of the water main itself via heat-fusion. The Fuse-A-Corp is saddle fused to the 2"* or larger HDPE water main using standard fusion procedures, providing a proven leak-free joint.
